How does the Sparkling Residential service work?
Fill out our Form Online or Contact us to discuss your service needs. Once your request is submitted via a personalized quote, and you wish to book, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your appointment details. All you need to do is sit back, relax and wait for your Housekeeper to arrive and spark clean your home.
What services does Sparkling offer for homes?

Do I have to be home while you clean?
You do not have to be home as long as your cleaner has proper directions for entering and exiting your home. You'll be prompted to give us these instructions when booking your appointment. Whatever you're most comfortable with is fine. All our Housekeepers are highly trained, background and reference checked.
In any case, please don't forget about your appointments. If our Housekeeper is unable to have access to your home by following your entry instructions, or if you aren't home when you said you would be, you'll be charged the cleaning service.
What time the Housekeeper will arrive?
The Housekeeper will arrive, and spark clean your home the time requested by you or will clean within the time frame allowed by you. As our Housekeepers travel on foot or by public transport, we will update you of any public transport delays.
Will the same Housekeeper show up for all my appointments?
Yes, we will schedule the same Housekeeper for all your appointments.
Can I give specific instructions to the Housekeepers and ask for special requests?
Yes, you are welcome to give specific instructions or special requests for the Housekeeper or before when you schedule your appointment.
Is Sparkling Services pet safe?
Yes! We LOVE pets. All our Housekeepers are trained to work in homes with pets. We kindly ask to inform if your home has a pet while making the booking, also if you think your pet may become overly anxious while we are there.
How much does it cost to clean my home?
Sparkling Services operate on a flat rate basis given the number of bedrooms and additional services. Each quote is personalized based on the size of your home and the additional services you desire. Please fill out the form to receive your quote.
What does the one-time Residential Cleaning Service include?
We will send one of our Housekeepers to make your home sparkle! All our standard cleanings include dusting and washing of all reachable surfaces, wiping the outside of kitchen/living room/bathroom/bedroom appliances & cabinets, and hovering & moping of all floors. For more details, the Sparkling Services for Residential is presented below per area:
Bathrooms
- Wash and sanitize sink, shower/bathtub and toilet
- Dust and wipe all reachable surfaces
- Wipe mirrors and glass fixtures
- Hoover & mop the floor
- Take out rubbish and recyclables
Kitchen
- Wash and sanitize sink
- Wipe clean outside cabinets and appliances
- Clean inside and outside of microwave
- Clean countertops
- Hoover & mop the floor
- Take out rubbish and recyclables
Bedrooms and Common Areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Dust and wipe all reachable surfaces
- Hoover & mop the floor
- Take out rubbish and recyclables
What does this one-time service not include? We charge extra for the following:
- Deep Cleaning
- Cleaning inside the fridge
- Cleaning inside the cabinets
- Cleaning inside the oven
- Cleaning exterior windows
- Cleaning interior walls
- Laundry Services
- Ironing Services
The above services are time consuming and require additional dedicated time from our Housekeepers. We offer affordable prices for these services and some of them our Housekeepers can accomplish if booked more frequently to clean your home.
We recommend a deep cleaning if you have not had your apartment professionally cleaned within the past 3 months.
Will the Housekeeper bring all necessary cleaning supplies to clean my home?
Most of our customers provide the cleaning chemicals and tools. We give the option to bring only the cleaning chemicals at £8 or organic cleaning chemicals at £12.

I do not have a hoover or a mop. Should I still book the cleaning service?
Certainly, although the cleanliness of the floor may not be up to our expectations. We would be glad to assist you on which hoover, and mop would be great for your home and you can consider this as an investment. Unfortunately, our Housekeepers are unable to provide hoover or mops because they travel by public transport and cannot carry any heavy equipment.
Do you have green cleaning supplies?
Certainly! We offer to bring organic cleaning chemicals at only £ 8 to clean your home. Simply request it while making the booking.
Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?
For best results, it is imperative that you have the following available for the Housekeeper to spark clean your home:
- Cleaning chemicals*
- Mop
- Hoover
- Microfiber cloths
- Bathroom Sponge
- Kitchen Sponge
- Toilet Brush
- Iron & Board (if ironing service was booked)

Is tip included?
Tipping is not mandatory or required in any way, but you have the option of doing so if you feel that you've received exceptional service. Our Housekeepers do appreciate the gesture.
Is Sparkling Services insured and bonded?
Yes, Sparkling Services is insured and bonded. We understand that it is a privilege to be in your home, and we are always careful. In the unlikely event that an object is damaged, please notify us within 24 hours of when the appointment is completed by email at contact@sparklingservices.co.uk.
